Paper Format

Preparation of Papers for MEJ (Font 20)

Abstract—These instructions give you guidelines for preparing papers for MEJ. Use this document as a template if you are using Microsoft Word 2007 or later. Otherwise, use this document as an instruction set. The electronic file of your paper will be formatted further at MEJ. Paper titles should be written in uppercase and lowercase letters, not all uppercase. Avoid writing long formulas with subscripts in the title; short formulas that identify the elements are fine (e.g., "Nd–Fe–B"). Do not write “(Invited)” in the title. Full names of authors are preferred in the author field, but are not required. Put a space between authors’ initials. Define all symbols used in the abstract. Do not cite references in the abstract. Do not delete the blank line immediately above the abstract; it sets the footnote at the bottom of this column. (Font 9, bold, Italic)

KEYWORDS:

Please, write your key words here in English

1.      Introduction

The document is a template for Microsoft Word versions 2007 or later. The major titles font is 10 Times New Roman and normal capitalized, whereas the subtitles font is 10 and italic. The text font is 10, whereas the figures, tables and references font is 8. The first line of the paragraph indent is 0.5 cm. The line spacing is 1.5 lines and zero spacing before and after.

2.      Guidelines for Manuscript Preparation

To insert images in Word, position the cursor at the insertion point and either use Insert | Picture | From File or copy the image to the Windows clipboard and then Edit | Paste Special | Picture. Fig. 1. (with “float over text” unchecked).

2.1   Abbreviations and Acronyms     the format of subheading is 10 and italic, 6 pt. spacing before and after & Hanging .63cm

Define abbreviations and acronyms the first time they are used in the text, as shown in Table 1 even after they have already been defined in the abstract. Abbreviations such as IEEE, SI, ac, and dc do not have to be defined. Abbreviations that incorporate periods should not have spaces: write “C.N.R.S.,” not “C. N. R. S.” Do not use abbreviations in the title unless they are unavoidable (for example, “IEEE” in the title of this article). As shown in table 1.

2.2   Other Recommendations

Use one space after periods and colons. Hyphenate complex modifiers: “zero-field-cooled magnetization.” Avoid dangling participles, such as, “Using (1), the potential was calculated.” [It is not clear who or what used (1).] Write instead, “The potential was calculated by using (1),” or “Using (1), we calculated the potential.”

Figures

Figures should be of high quality. Ensure that each figure has a caption (a brief title). The text font of the figures, tables and references font is 8.

All figures and tables should be mentioned within the text. So please check and make sure that all figures and tables are referred to within the relevant text & activate the hyperlink of citations and link them by the correct figures and tables.

Insert all figures in tables and delete the borders.

Fig. 1. Magnetization as a Figure 1Magnetization as a function of applied field.

Note that “Fig.” is abbreviated. There is a period after the figure number, followed by two spaces. It is good practice to explain the significance of the figure in the caption of applied field. Note that “Fig.” is abbreviated. There is a period after the figure number, followed by two spaces. It is good practice to explain the significance of the figure in the caption

aGaussian units are the same as cg emu for magnetostatics; Mx = maxwell, G = gauss, Oe = oersted; Wb = weber, V = volt, s = second, T = tesla, m = meter, A = ampere, J = joule, kg = kilogram, H = henry.

3       Math

If you are using Word, use either the Microsoft Equation Editor or the MathType add-on (http://www.mathtype.com) for equations in your paper (Insert | Object | Create New | Microsoft Equation or MathType Equation). “Float over text” should not be selected.

3.1   Equations

Number equations consecutively with equation numbers in parentheses flush with the right margin, as in (1). First use the equation editor to create the equation. Punctuate equations when they are part of a sentence, as in

                                                                                            (1)

Be sure that the symbols in your equation have been defined before the equation appears or immediately following. Italicize symbols (T might refer to temperature, but T is the unit tesla). Refer to “(1),” not “Eq. (1)” or “equation (1),” except at the beginning of a sentence: “Equation (1) is ... .”

4       Conclusion

A conclusion section is required. Although a conclusion may review the main points of the paper, do not replicate the abstract as the conclusion. A conclusion might elaborate on the importance of the work or suggest applications and extensions.

References

Adjust the references of your manuscript by using the ''endnote tool'' Harvard style according to our regulation. visit our site (Author's Guidelines- references) https://mej.researchcommons.org/home/author_guidelines.html.

Citations include the author’s last name, the year of publication must be hyperlinked as this would allow readers & reviewers to click on a citation and go to the reference list at the end of the paper. Each source you cite in the paper must appear in your reference list; likewise, each entry in the reference list must be cited in your text.

*References should not be numbered and Every hyperlinked reference cited in the text should appear as for example, J. Attapangittya. 2003

*General Internet Site

* Web links and URLs should be provided in full data, including the author (the name of the site or the name of the author), title and the URL, as well as the access date of the site.

Author - If there are one or more personal names associated with the specific page or article you are citing, enter them using the format "Smith, Sandra B."  Use a return between each person's name.   If there is no individual named, you can use the organization as the author, such as "American Cancer Society" followed by a comma.  (This is to prevent EndNote from interpreting this as first/last names, which would erroneously result in a "person" named Society A.C.)

Title - If the article has its own title, use that.  If not, use the name of the overall Web page.  If there is not an obvious name, look at the URL for a clue.  You may end up using the organization's name if no title is apparent.

Year - If the article is dated, use that year.  If it is not, look for a copyright year at the bottom of the Web page.  If none is given, enter "n.d." (for "no date").

Access Date - Enter the month, day, and year you looked at the Web page (e.g., April 5, 2014).

URL - Copy and paste the URL from your browser address bar.

The research is divided into two main sections: (Abdirad and Dossick, 2016), The first section starts with the theoretical part by studying the references and studies related to the subject about the benefits of using BIM technology. Section two is applied of housing projects implemented in Egypt in simulation. (Konyushkov et al., 2020)
